This meeting as been a long time coming.
So thanks to all who have been arranging and been doing work to get it to where it is now.

@ animal I like the suggestion, As most of the Reptile owners other side of the hobby deal with Natcon and are able to get permits maybe we can adopt there principles they use to achieve this with regards to Our exotic spiders.

To all members that will be attending the meeting at Lory Park Zoo who is bringing along family and friends on the day, here is the daily programme for the Saterday.

For those of you that want to spend the day, there is braai facilities available as well as a tea garden that serves light lunches and drinks.

From my excursions with NatCon, I've found that they are in short supply of manpower, and have reached the conclusion, that it is up to us keepers of exotics, to gear ourselves with the law, the stipulations the works, to keep ourselves in the clear, I didn't know just doesn't cut it...

This kind off attitude doesn't really help. If this is the only info we need from Natcon why not make it the main point of the seminar.

What makes you think The Animal has a closed mindset?

At least he and various others makes a tangible effort to improve and safeguard our hobby.
