The heating/cooling issue seems to be a personal preference.
Personally i cool my spiders down to around 15 degrees in the winter. I believe it makes breeding spiders much easier if done from when the spider is a sling, all the way through to adulthood.

Thanks!

Which species would you recommend for first time breeders?

The difference between utility and utility plus beauty is the difference between telephone wires and the spider web.

Hi All

What about feedig, before and after pairing.

I have read that it is better to over feed the female before introducing the male, as that would decreace the chance of her eating him. But then again some say that its not nnecessary . And what about after the pairing how mutch do you feed her then?

I have done ALLOT of reading on breeding, but some things just dont seem to come up in the breeding reports, or the breeding procedure pages i have read.

At what time do you split the slings into their own containers? How and what are the slings fed before and after they are split?
