Nope the mother isn't going to expend all that energy creating the spiderlings just to then eat them although i'm sure if you left them in there for long enough (months rather than days or weeks) then the numbers would decline.
I remove the female then go about potting up the slings. It is a bit of a pain in the bum sometimes which is why i tend to pull the sac at around the 3 or 4 week mark and put it in an incubator. Much easier to find slings in a clear plastic tub than having to sift through web and substrate.

That was my thoughts too. If I am ever fortunate enough to get a successful sac, I'm doing just that

That is definately the easiest method to avoid sifting through substrate, and I would recommend it.
Just be prepared to possibly lose some babies in the incubator if you have done something wrong (Happened to me before. ).
Mommy knows best most times if the eggs are getting too warm, wet, dry, etc.

But then again, we all need to make some mistakes sometimes to learn, so best to practice from the start.
Definately comes down to personal preferance.

I have read a article saying that some Ts can breed before they are full mature(The report was on a H.lividum).

can anyone confirm this or is it just a wise tale? They were saying that it is easier to breed smaller females, even though they produce less eggs. Can any one confirm this with any genus?
