So after 1 public holiday and back into the office i can see a few changes.

The isopods seems to thrive in this tank. There are babies galore and they love the moist little area with the plants thats close to the fish.



Our LED growth lights seem to be working very well. As you can see the plants are trying to get to it



And obviously you will get a few pests growing as well. I can see 3 at the moment but i am sure there will be lots more, Now not sure if this is good or bad but the habitat is working.



Another interesting thing is that there are these little moth/flies flying around and if they accidentally slip into the water they are instant food for the fish. They seem to love the taste

I got the one molt out and tried to sex it but they are still quite small and need a loop or microscope. From what i could see it looked male.

But will try get more molts out and check

@huzi my communal is not for public display. At some point they will all be sold or moved to individual tanks for breeding. Trying to bring down the p. metallica price in my own way for years to come.
