Have you considered using tillandsias in enclosures ? They are epiphytic plants that can be hot glued onto almost any surface as long as there is a moderate amount of humidity.

I decided against the H gigas going into the setup after we changed the arboreals from some hybrid avics to the metallicas.
I will certainly go see if I can find some tillandsias, thanks!

So its been a while since the last update. Nothing really exciting happening other than the spiders growing nicely! All 8 are still alive all living together except 1 that has made its own home as you can see :







All spiders have molted about 3 times each since the last update and are around 5cm now. From now on every molt will be sexed. Habitat is good just moss does not seem to grow but plants are good and roaches all breeding in the tank. Lots of isopods cleaning the tank nicely.

Fish seem to have tried to breed but can only see 1 baby.

Will be making a new video showing all the spiders and habitat.

Took some pictures today to show the specimens and how they have grown.

First of all the fish remaining are doing great and are breeding nicely. Just noticed 2 new babies swimming around. You can see it by the rock.




We have 8 specimens in the tank. They have grown to about 6cm legspan. From what I have observed I can provide an average of size:

3 are about 6-7 cm
another 3 about 5cm
and 2 are still very small measuring about 3-4 cm







Waterfall still doing great and keeping the fish safe



Plant growing nicely so seems like the light is working well.



The most troubling issue we had was that all specimens found a way to make homes behind the backdrop when they where still small but now they have outgrown their space and are starting to move to the front












Seems like they really enjoy the tight squeeze areas.
