I had a very similar conversation with a guy last night, he was a Christian and i am well a more open minded person. The more i tried to explain the facts the more he tried to convert me. I have no problem with that but i explained the whole evolution theory to him and he just refused to see my logic.

After that he spent 30 min explaining the Bible to me and then i stopped him. I have no problem with other peoples believes but they mustn't come and force it on me.

I think this topic will go on for a long time and never end. Its better to see the humor in this all and move on. I mean if a guy can make up Pastafarianism then anything is possible. :silly:

The point I wanted to make is that almost certainly every person has faith in something, if it is the screen infront of you or a GOD that one has never seen, it does not matter! Everyone's got hope for (faith in) something.

In all fairness yes I do agree with you that we all do have faith or hope as you put it in something. And there is nothing wrong with that and I have no problem with that at all. I just have a problem with people not using there grey matter and ask questions. I was a big church bunny, then I asked one question that changed my view and started me asking other questions.

I asked my preacher this...If a Muslim lives a pure life and doesn't do any sin and I do mean nothing not so much as a dirty or ill thought, will he go to heaven? The preacher said no he is not a christian and if he doesn't repent he will go to hell. Now I ask you wtf?

I dont believe in religious sects because they are mans idea of what and who... NOT Gods!!! I have studied all 3 Major Religions and out of all of them Christianity is the most flawed.

Just one example. Joseph son of Jacob was the 1st borne of Rachel, he had 12 brothers, he was sold for 20 silver pieces by his brother Judah.

Jesus son of Joseph first born Mary had 12 disciples was betrayed by Judas for 30 silver pieces.

This is the same story.

Joseph son of Jacob was a prototype for Jesus. OR as Im sure you will say its by chance lol.

Needles to say I know my religions "So please do try and quote something out the bible to prove me wrong I dare you ".

I am not a sheep to be herded by mortal men trying to scare me with story's.
