The one in Durban cut to size and you don't have to buy a full sheet if they have off cuts!!!
I don't where about you are and maybe it something only the Durban branch offers???

My biggest issue is that, although most of my current T's fall into the 15 - 17 cm category (when mature), I also have a L parahybana which is growing at a ridiculous pace. I'm not too keen on having to move cages of that size around! Will take everyone's advice into account and then decide

I went into Mr Plastic today to see if they could make a 15x15x15 perspex tank with hinges and a latch. I asked them to do one so I can see how it comes out.... when its ready and if its quality illl place an order for some bigger tanks even though it is quite pricey. Much better than the crappy glass tanks from pet stores, ive got 3 and all have cracks somehow??? I used some marine silicone to seal the cracks on the bottom and gnna leave them to air. In my opinion if the custom tanks come out nice then its worth the money to get something that will last and look good but most importantly house a T

Sure, it's nice to use perspex or some of those fancy, very light weight materials, but when it comes to money saving, and like the guys that has 100+ Tarantulas, glass would be the best cost-wise.

I'm thinking of making some enclosures out of glass. The only thing holding me back is the vent caps. Were would I get something like that?
Any ideas other than vent caps?

Any yea, I worked in the signage industry for many years before starting my own business and I worked extensively with acrylics (Acrilan, Perspex, plexiglas ect..).
Personally I wouldn't make anything except a short term enclosure out of it and in that case one of those plastic boxes from a plastics store work better and are MUCH cheaper.

I bought the plastic ones from Builders warehouse and have had no hassles with them.

I asked the information person at the builders close to me if he had vent caps and all I got was "Eish!"

Is its correct name a "Vent cap"
