They will all work, provided they receive enough light. If you are interested I can PM you a link to a thread on another forum where I discussed this in some detail.
I have put in a Ficus Pumila and Chamaedorea Elegans in my A.geniculata's enlosure about 3weeks ago and the plants is still doing great.Don't know what the spider tried to do last night but this morning his enclosure was full of ficus pumila leaves

That's probably due to the plants health deteriorating. First the leaves start to fall, then it will die. Success with vivarium planting is only achieved if a few important factors are considered.
To thrive, plants need adequate lighting and ventilation, as well as a well planned watering schedule. If one, or all of the above are lacking, success won't be good. The substrate, and especially the depth thereof is very important.
