Can you use normal peat with the hen and chicks or potting soil?

Normal peat is fine, works great.
I use mondo grass too.

Thx for informing about the Mondo grass. I've seen this in my friends enclosure but each time i visit him i forgot to ask lol. I love to have a variety of stuff in one enclosure as to not 'bore' my T's. And the Mondo grass will make a perfect addition!

I went past a bonzai place and thought if small ones of those would work in an enclosure??

Just went to my garden and found some Chlorophytum (Spider Plant), how cool for a name of a plant that you can plant in a T setup, anyway going to see how it copes in a pot inside and wait until any pestisides, if any, are gone.

What would you suggest I use as live plants:

Fittonia Red
Ficus Pumila
Chamaedorea Elegans

This is a few plants that plantimex reccomended to me
