Oh, I agree, there should be a list, with impact studies the works.

In fact, my academic collegues and I are hugely worried about the research hobbling this is likely to cause. We wont be able to work with fruit flies for the love of reason!

Or if you spot a new insect species, you cant catch it for description.

Or if you collect butterfly specimens, no more hobby....

The list goes on and on.

Essentially, they have just banned everything to do with anything that doesnt have a spine, except for T's and Scorps (and silkworms), and that includes coral in your marine tank.

This is why new legislation requires a public participation process, so it can be inclusively written.

So according to our own law, a bio impact study needs to be done and or proof provided of such impacts that have occurred. You can't pass a law, just because a few narrow minded people feel that way. Again, studies bio impacts appropriate people in their fields background data etc needs to be used to fully implement a law like this.
