Where wood the meeting happen if there was a club?

Let's not turn this thread into a debate about what is illegal and what not. Let's stick to ideas about the local clubs please

@Pieter - it all depends on the 'club founder' and the members. You could have the meetings / gatherings at the same place every month or you could rotate the venue between members. Whatever floats your boat!

If you rotate the venue it gives everyone a chance to play host and show off their collection.

Obviously logistics will be sorted out by the members

I was just ansering a question. Club sounds like a good idea. Just wood not invite strangers in my house though. lol.

Maybe you could start out by only allowing members of this forum... and later when you are more comfortable you could allow members to bring friends...?

As I understand it any tarantulas in SA is not a problem at the moment .
But importing and exporting is the issue .

I do like the Idea of a tarantulas club sounds like alot of fun and can be intresting .

To anser cascades question. Yes, they are ilegal to keep in sa. At the moment nat con dose not enforc it but they can if they want.
