First of all thank you to all the people who answered my question.

Secondly, this thread is "How to rehouse a dangerous T" Not "Guess what the T is".

So to Stanley A. Schultz and AubZ it is none of your business what so ever! I am not talking about my tarantula. No it is not illegal I do not want people to know what I have, its a secret until i can do something with it.

I call it dangerous because it is highly venomous. It is quite a big one, I would say around a 10cm legspan.

Anyways... I will rehouse this saturday and thanks you all for the advice.

Just a quick question... I heard that you can put the small cage inside the big new cage and just coax him out from there? Could that work?

Yes but if that fails its best to have it done inside the bath. Its kinda cupping the T no matter the size ;]

Not sure how much you actually know about Tarantula's, But almost 99% of everyone you speak to, will recommend to you that you should buy a book called "The Tarantula keepers guide" (BTW, if you dont have it yet.. get it)

Secondly, The people who wrote that book, are considered by many in the Tarantula keeping community, to be the foremost experts in the hobby keepers field. Now Mr Stanley A. Schultz, Just happens to one of the authors of that book. All of his questions where directed at you in such a way, That to me at least, it seemed as if he was trying to best understand how to help you decide what to do. Even stating that if it was illegal, to ignore the question, however he would still help out... so sorry to say Vinzy, but you just shot yourself in the foot when it comes to getting EXPERT advice, from the pro's in the industry

Yes it would.. dont even both to coax it out. Put the smaller cage into the bigger one, Take off the lid, and leave it there for as long as it takes to let it leave on its own, if you really are that worried about being bitten. When it does and its far enough way, take the smaller cage out and snap the bigger cages lid closed

No offence, but if you cant even rehouse your 'dangerous' T, then you shouldn't be keeping it IMO.
