Total cost for 12 large enclosures and units to display them in with heating and lighting:

which is less than R100 per enclosure. Not bad if you ask me...

Looks like a handy setup! For tarantulas it could be problematic to have the heat pads directly underneath the enclosures. T's burrow frequently and would place themselves directly on top of the heat source. And if they feel hot, the only direction they would instinctively go when trying to find relief would be down.

The safest option to put a heat pat is along one side of the tanks.

I stoped keeping scorps cause they tend to die on me for no reason ..
