I thought I would share how I keep and display my scorpions. The same setup could be used for tarantulas. The way it has been setup is to allow independent control of each enclosure. So you can have a moist tropical enclosure right next to a bone dry enclosure, as you will see in the following pictures.

The first picture is of the units and enclosures I use. Each unit holds 6 large enclosures and multiple smaller ones.

The unit has heating pads and lights fitted to it.

my units hold two large enclosures per level - 3 levels

each level has a heating pad for heat. Heat inside enclosure is mid twenties C.

the beauty of this unit is that you can have a bone dry enclosure with very low humidity right next to a wet humid enclosure as seen here. The dry enclosure (30% humidty) is for a Parabuthus transvaalicus and the tropical enclosure (80% humidity) is for a whip scorpion.
