Im in some dire need of advise and help.

On Friday I got my first Avic versi... my holey grail T. Only a little sling +- 1.5cm. It was sent from Cape town to JHB overnight. Packaging was good and great care by the sender.

The little one was a bit sluggish and not as speedy as I would like. Took the deli cup it came with and added about half a centimeter of new moist substrate and let the little one be to recover from the trip. Saturday there still wasn't much movement but did respond to a paintbrush touch so wasn't to worried. Last night when I had a look the little one was curled up and my heart nearly stopped and I could feel the tears coming on. I lightly touched it with a paintbrush again to see if any movement and there was a leg or 2 twitching ever so slowly. Now im not sure if the poor thing is on its way out or if going into a molt. I wanted to move it to a ICU but recond if I disturb a molt it might be done fore sure.

PLEASE I NEED HELP AND ADVICE!!!!! I will be devastated it dies on me.

I havent lost a T in 4 years and I have other Aborials that I have raised from slings and I know I didnt do anything to endanger this little one.

Which way is it legs Curling?

curling inward under the body im afraid and I know that means one thing but I just dont want to hear it.

There must be something I can do

Try the ICU.

I now how you feel, I lost my A versi a couple months ago.

WIll the sender refund you a new sling?

Im shit scared its in a molt and if I move the little one it might do more damage. Well Im at work at the moment and have to wait till I get home to see if there is a nicely molted Versi in a new suit or in same condition as I left it or possibly dead. If in the same condition I will move it to an icu and hope for the best.

is there anything extra to a avic icu I should be aware of?

Well Onyx, all I can say I had one versi die on me and another that did the same as yours, but eventually pulled through.

It was all curled up at the bottom of the tank and I was very sure it was dead. I did not remove the corpse immediately and 2 hours later I saw it was not in the exact same position and spot. Put it in ICU and it completely recovered. Now it is a strong and hopefully pregnant girl.
