Apologies if we (myself included) do not understand the limitations of the admin/moderator rights.

This is just causing problems with several issues here as Scarab has raised with you, but if there is no way to correct the rights then we will just continue as normal.

@Taki. You missed the major fight (Which scarab eventually managed to sort out and which seems to be the last straw that is breaking the camel's back) with a user coming on here asking people to send our local spiders overseas. Even after being told on numerous occasions that the site doesn't support this (Im assuming) he wouldn't give up causing kak. People like this need to be given warnings and banned which scarab can't seem to do. Also, there needs to be more than one person that could fulfil these moderator duties (If they are even given any?)

There is no problem, the site functions perfectly, so there is no need to complain. I am frustrated because I look like a poepol when things get out of hand and I seem to do nothing about it. I know someone working on the same forum backend (Kunena) and those rights can be asigned to moderators. Perhaps the developer that helped previously can look and see...

I find it frustrating also that I can not edit signatures or user names. I know users can't edit usernames themselves, but sometimes these become silly and in some cases, unecceptable.

Guys I'll ask Dimitri if there's anything we can do with respect to better moderator abilties...
I understand your frustrations and appreciate all your efforts. It's is just seriously annoying that there is always some stupidity to sort out on the internet and is much of the reason that I struggle to find the time and patience to 'administrate' it all all of the time.
Providing things take a turn for the better for me in real life soon, I will probably be in a better frame of mind to look after tarantulas.co.za which I still love so much
