1) Gas is more than electricity
2) Gas is dangerous to leave burning while you sleeping
3) Gas heaters emit a gas smell which might not be safe for your spiders, even thou the harmful gas is being burned it still smells.
4) Read the TKG on heating spiders

There is some other methods you can use, head down to your lighting or electrical store, there are infra red lights that heat the room up, there are plenty energy saving methods on the market know a days.

Or you can use the method chicken farmers use, with those big infra red lights they also take the nip out the air!

The 3rd phase powers the flat.

The price that I'm going to give you, was a estimation over 88 days, this is the time when I had the heater on over winter.
The heater was the only thing on in the flat at this time, with some lights.
