Hmmm... Now this kind of thing would've been nice to see before I ordered the P Irminia Anyway it seems these little guys pretty much each have their own "personality" for lack of a better word.

I went with a slightly larger tank hoping that if the little guy has more space to run he might go for that option. Also I'm using a high tank so there's a good 10cm between the highest decoration and the opening.

Perhaps a little more interaction while he is still small might help to have him more comfortable with me poking around later?

I came upon this thread just after I'd bought my first arboreal - C schioedtei So I suspect we'll both soon be thinking we've lost our minds! Have to confess, once I get the hang of this one the P irminia is next, seeing as the bf really wants one..

Haha, Good luck with that Ashe. Fortunately for me I think my mind has been coming and going for a while now so I'll hardly notice the difference.
And from my recent experience I'd say it probably won't be that long before you have the P Irminia anyway

Ashe, do you realize that a bite from that Cyriopagopus schioedtei is going to be very similar to that of Poecilotheria, Haplopelma or Lampropelma? Dont get me wrong, it's a prized old world species to own, but they are extremely quick and agile, and very defensive. So congrats on owning one!

If you can handle a C Schioedtei ma'am, Psalmopoeus would be a breeze, even pokies too. I will soon have a few P. Ornata, P Striata, P Fasciata and P Regalis slings available. (not to count my slings before they hatch :eyepoke: ) P. Ornata's are definitely available :happy:
