Normal. Mine does it also. I also think it is to "feel" what is happening around them.I read they don't have good sight.So I think they sense with vibration what is happening around them.

She spent most of yesterday repairing the damage I had done, then got into her supplied burrow and closed the door.

She's done this once before after feeding.

Here's a pic showing the folds in the bits of rug that didn't come along with the water bowl.

When they lay a big carpet down covering most of the floor its just a deco thing I recon lol No its to track prey, like all spiders they can feel movement on the carpet and knows where there prey is.

If its a small thick carpet then its for molting
