Perhaps the smaller sling is a dwarf species which explains the size. Also T's with larger eggsacs have smaller offspring.
The packaging is pretty standard, just give the guy some time and he should pull through.
Have sent a 16cm B smithi MM in a similar way, over 1000km and he came out on the other side alive, kicking and ready to breed.

We send all our package with overnight services. Not normal post as that takes too long. And that's why you only post spideys on mondays-wednesdays so that they don't have to stay at the post office over the weekend.

I am the guy that got hold of Allen with regards to my t's since I am new to all this. The guy i brought them from said he can post them and he stated that they would arrive shortly and to my door step which they did not, they were sent on the 28th and arrived on the 4th at the post office. Could the death be due to the t being in an enclosed container for a long period of time?

There has been cases where spiders have been lost in the post for weeks months and come out fine.
If the packaging was done righgt the spiders would be fine.

But it happens that some spiders just die through the post.
Was the tissue moist when you got it?

What spider was it?
