Hi guys, i am currently breeding crickets for my T`s but everyone is talking about roaches.

Are they better to feed?

Which roaches would be best to use, and how do you breed them?

I would suggest you get some dubia/orange spotted or Turkish roaches ..as they can't climb smooth surfaces
Thou dubias should be used for larger aggressive eaters because if they are not eaten immediately they tend to burrow in the substrate ..turkish roaches are a good choice as they don't burrow and breed easily .
I currently have a colony of turkistans mixed with a few dubias and they are doing fine .

If you got the breeding of your crickets fine tuned then keep breeding them, crickets is not the easiest thing to breed at times so keep on with them.

If you can breed crickets and you don't have issues with that then roaches will be as easy as 1 2 3 for you.
Roaches don't need as much work to keep them going as crickets.
But there is nothing stopping you from breeding crickets and roaches, that way you can change what you feed your spiders from feeding to feeding.

The main set-up for your roaches is a plastic tub 70L and up, something like the kiddies toys bin you get from game or the plastic shops, then all you add is egg trays packed up right and feed them every other day and clean out every other week and bob is your uncle.
