@Ducheck - Yeah life has handed down a fair number of curve balls over the last couple of years, but I am finally through it and everything is going better again. As much good stuff as there was on the old site there was just as much politics and therefore maybe not such a bad thing that the old site went corrupt. The community needed a clean start at one point as the politics were probably the biggest cause of me removing myself from the online community.
@Vanessa - It is very common when it comes to spiders that the ladies are the brave ones and the muscled men that runs screaming like 5 year old little girls. Still don't understand that completely, but it still happens even when I do shows with the Spider Club of Southern Africa and we only have rain spiders which are much smaller. 60 T's sounds like a nice collection, but my advice, don't go too big too fast and turn your hobby into a job. That is not nice. Also don't stir too much, but a little can keep things interesting.
@Cascade - Once a T-keeper always a T-keeper, my life just needed to get back on track for a change. Hopefully I will be able to stay active this time around. I wasn't really planning a comeback, but seeing that so many people know me I got given someones collection that wanted out immediately and that stirred up the old feeling that I had when I started keeping T's. So I though it might be fun to get into the swing of things again, but keeping it small. Not going to be bothered with breeding and selling like before.
@Kudu - If I remember correctly we might have met around the time you started keeping T's at one of the expo's or we would have met, but then you could not make it or something. Hopefully I have some knowledge to share, but maybe I have some new knowledge to acquire as well.
@Shaun - Maybe not a legend, but at least I've had the first successful B.smithi sac many years ago and I don't know if it has been done again since. Again my advice, don't go to big too fast and end up turning your hobby into a job. Rather spend the time on getting your enclosures to look as natural as possible and have nice display cages that you can brag with.
