Your Ts will stop eating will darken up
Its abdomen will go black

Some time your Ts will eat right up to when they going to shed so dont really count on this method ..

But as you go on keeping Ts you will learn and become fairly good at judging and reading your Ts and learn there ways ..

So the time as come to rehouse my T but im afraid i hurt him trying to get him out coz he has dug tunnels in to the peat, is there an easy way to do this?

Yes, dig him up. He can't stay in there forever...

sweet so i dug him up, changed the peat, he was quite calm during the whole ordeal.
are Grammostola Pulchripes burrowers? I also put less peat in this time,but i see his trying to burrow again, think im ganna try put a sort of a small cave in there for him, any ideas?

G. pulchripes like to burrow when young, just like most other slings. I put about 2 cm of peat into their tubs. I haven't tried a hide for them.

My 5 cm G. pulchripes girl is now becoming much more visible and less shy
