Hi there I am new to this site and new to the spider world!!!!
I have been offered to swap my a amazon tree boa for Salmon pink birdeater, mexican red rump and a golden red rump.
a question can a red rump be bred with a golden red rump??? The Salmon pink birdeater is a female and is it worth the swap???
I wouldn't do it but that's just because I love snakes, but how old is your snake? This will let us know how much your snake is worth because 2 of the spiders you are getting is fairly common and the 3 is also not that hard to find. It also depends on the sizes of the T's you are getting so add a bit of info and then we talk business.
Brachypelma albiceps(golden red rump) and the Brachypelma vagans(red rump) cant be bred....thay are 2 difrent species...as for the traid....i think its a good idee....3spiders for any snake gooooood idee...i dont like snakes
Hi MB reptiles,
Welcome to the forum.
I would point out that you rather familiarize yourself with the scientific names to avoid confusion.
Once you know the scientific names and get some experience keeping T's I am sure member will be willing to share info on breeding and mating specific T's.
The question your asking should be answered by you. You should have an idea of the monetery value of your boa. Google the prices for hte T's in question and you will have your answer.
