i must say besides the fascination of its size and chicken eating skills i love the beautiful black color!

These and other T's are caught in Peru by the native Indians to eat as they are so large they provide a good source of protein. So it is either eat or be eaten where they come from.
They do eat birds but this is the first time I have heard of it trying to eat a chicken.

@ Romio.Unfortunately no.There's no legal way of getting them.

You'd have to smuggle them in,and that's a big risk if you get caught doing that.So we'd have to do without them...for now.Just have to wait until a specific person starts breeding them in S.A.

Like I mentioned,there's only one person in S.A. that I know off who has Peru Chicken Spider's.And it will take some time before any breeding can be done.

well they are worth the wait i guess, just hope that we will one day be able to get our hands on some!
