Yes there is a small update. Unfortunately with the waterfall running we noticed the water level dropping significantly and the sand side of the tank was getting flooded so we stopped everything to monitor.

After many days monitoring it seems that the waterfall is either splashing or one of the leaves is iterfering and forcing water to the other side. So fortunately it was not the glass separator. Now just to identify where the problem is.

I am sure you guys will find the source of the problem soon, and all will be up and running smoothly again.
