@Splurge not to be a " party pooper " :whistle: but i have 3 H. incei in a communal they have been there for 4 months, think i might have seen them once maybe twice come out and hunt. I never see them make new webbing as they are always in there hides and the only thing that i can notice is that the roaches go missing! :lol: So dont get your hopes up but maybe that is just with mine i am not sure. I was unlucky to lose one when i introduced them into there enclosure. The key i think is that there should be allot of hiding places and as Flash mentioned maybe feed them first!

I hope that all goes well and that nothing bad happens!

Ye i also hope nothing goes wrong. I have noticed that there is one that is out in the open constantly, hasn't made a home yet and seems to have distanced itself from the rest. Any thoughts on that?

The only thing i can think of is to give it a place to hide and make nest. I don't think you have to worry about this but they might get defensive if he goes to any of the others hiding places! Post a pic of your setup maybe i can get a better idea on this. Just note i am no expert and can only give you my opinion!

It's been more than two months now since I started this thread and posted pics of my H incei communal. Nothing has changed much, all nine are still accounted for and the plants flourish, (just add water ). Here is just a quick update with a few pics.

I think it is time for an update on my communal

I haven't been able to see the nine H incei my communal started with :ohmy: ,
but there are definitely seven burrows and the crickets disappear at an alarming rate!
