No holes. Used silicone to stick the hinges to the glass.
As for the ventilation, I am in two minds about this. I bought a large Tarantula (8cm) a while back that was in an enclosure without any ventilation holes, no problems. Also, I have seen many mature males in plastic enclosures without ventilation, so not sure it is really critical. Depends on species I suppose.
Also, the door doesn't seal air-tight (the rest is water tight, I tested

), so there should be enough air.
This enclosure will be home to either my Avicularia isla margarita (probably requires better ventilation) or my P cambridgei (Ventilation shouldn't be an issue).
My A versi is in an arboreal enclosure with only one opening at the top, no issues, molted twice in it already.
