I put it in about 10 days ago, and thought the T had eaten it, but I saw it again a few days ago. I tried to remove it, but it hides in the Ts burrow and i can't get it out. I haven't seen it since then. Do you think it poses a significant threat to the GBB? I would hate to lose the T. It really is quite a pretty specimen. The cricket is small and the T is about 6cm in size.

Now in this case, try and get the cricket out asap!
Also check for a shed bed, a fairly thick carpet like webbing that the spider would have put down to molt on or a hammock type web this will also answer your question to weather it is molting?

I think it was definitely in the process of molting, but I'm fairly certain it is dead. It hasn't moved at all in a 24hour period. It did web up it's enclosure a fair amount about 2 weeks ago already. I opened up the tank last night, and moved things around as well as opening up the burrow but couldn't find the cricket. Maybe the T ate it? The only other place the cricket could be is under the T, but I haven't disturbed it again. I think it is safe to say that it is dead? Such a pity, as it was a really nice looking T.

Then I think you can open the burrow and take a closure look, be gentle as the spider might still be ok.

The T is not near the burrow. So I did open it up properly. I moved everything around as well. No cricket.
