According to me the OBT not an indigenous species. As such the regulations are not applicable to the OBT!!

It is listed as follows in the species list:

"CATEGORY: Protected Species - Indigenous species of high conservation value or national importance that require national protection"

My understanding is that it is indigenous to the Usambra Region in Kenia!

As such the dealing in and keeping of in the hobby will never be illegal!

Hey Mario, Kenya is just 1 locality it is found in and there is documentation that the same species has been found in Northern South Africa.

Basically it is in the Pterinochilus genus which is protected as there are other species within this genus also found in South Africa.

Hope this helps you

Those are the main localities it is widely populated at. I should update it and add South Africa.
