Well as the heading states
I want to say every bad word in the dictionary and kick myself

it really gets to me when you don’t listen to the inner risk management person saying don’t drive there! Don’t do that! Move this right now! And you don’t listen to it because you know better or you think nothing will happen!!

Well this is the biggest cock up I have done since I been in the hobby and this will be the last

Well lets paint the picture
I sold my large snake tank as it was just taken up space but in doing so I had to move all my roaches somewhere else and my Forest roaches on the floor next to the couch, I got them in a big plastic bin. No issue there but the window is behind the Roach box every morning when I wake up I take the lid off the container just to keep the moisture in.

I went and took the lid off the container to feed my roach’s dog food and left it off.
My inner risk management person said move the box away from the curtains! "Back of my mind given the reason” Cause if the wind blows it will blow the curtain into the roach container and the roaches will get out.
I just left it.

Well I went out to see a client at 18:00 It started to storm around 19:00 I got home at 20:00 walked into the flat and I saw black things running on the floor and up the curtains about 40 odd forest roaches on the curtains and on the floor and on the couch.
Needless to say I caught all that I could see but I have set up roach traps.
Well if the traps don’t work the frogs will get them!

Any way every one needs to make a mistake to catch awake and learn how to not do something’s.
As as I feel about it, but it’s one of those things!

JA it's One of about 30 crickets that are staying with the Roaches.
I find the crickets grow really well with the roaches and its the extra babies that dont get feed off to my spiders!

That is sure not fun and I can identify. I have a toddler of 28 months. I have my forest roaches in the garage. I was busy to install a movement sensor for a security light and left the garage open and my son was with me.

At some point I turned and he was not near. So I went to look for him and caught him in the act. He already had two of the big egg trays on the floor and roaches running over the place. Caught what I could find. Now I need to keep a closer eye on the guy and I have a girl of 10 months that soon will be walking and exploring.

I already have my Ts in a glass show case with a lock. Need to make a plan with the roaches.
