I've been telling people this all along, alcohol is one of the worst drugs out there. It's just acceptable because society says so. Society also says weed is bad... Based on what proof? In the end alcohol should be illegal and weed should be legal if anything.

Well, I can tell you my cousins and uncle will be happy if this comes to light!!!

I wont argue that it helps with cancer and other things, A friends father was diagnosed with cancer and was not going to live long, he started smoking marijuana, he is still alive today, that was 4 years ago.
But side effects, he had bad dreams, that he thought was real, often would have to go check on him, as he would say that he was being attacked and there were people in the yard.

Just as alcohol kills, so does wed, it fine to legalize it, but for medical use only, not for some kid to smoke it and then go on a joy ride and cause an accident, in that aspect they going to have problems.

Anything that messes with your senses is dangerous..
My cousin has totaled 2 cars high on wed.

The petition states recreational use also? I do not want to work with people who are high and have the processing power of 19 vootsak Pentium 1 desktop laughing the whole day. And put it simply there will be more deaths on the road. Do you think people will use the stuff responsibly? Never in a million years and look at alcohol abuse as proof. More money will have to be spent on laws regulating the use as well, not to mention our police don't have a good Rep for doing there jobs. Recreational use is totally out of the question. It will never work.

It could be the case but I don't think it will be. If you look at other countries you will see how legalizing it actually reversed a lot of various crimes and saved the government money, but this you will have to research for yourself. Also medicinal marijauna can have no unwanted psychological side affects. The strains they can go now can have various amounts of TCH and various amounts of the healing properties which means you can take it without the high feeling but still get the medicinal benefits.

It's a mind set that has to change, just because you were told something, doesn't mean its true. Have to start questioning the world and doing research.

Good point T-rad I do believe in the medicinal use and watched a show on the uses in construction and clothing. Pretty cool really and if it can be used in a way where people can't abuse it in any way by all means use the stuff. But for recreational use is absurd and you will have people abuse it. I speak to those who lack the intelligence to use something constructively and responsibly. A lot of work will have to be done to prevent the creation of a new problem.

But once it becomes legal it will become like every other drug people are abusing, and trust me sometimes its safer to have someone high off weed then high off strong over the counter painkillers.
