Hey everyone. I'm new to the world of tarantulas and fairly recently bought my first two at the SOS reptile expo. I purchased a mature female Chaco gold knee and mature female curly hair. I tried to research them both as much as I possibly could. My curly has adapted very well and eats well. My gold knee has yet to feed, she refuses food still. The past two days she has been quite inactive and won't respond when I gently brush her with a paint brush. I'm unsure if she is in pre molt, she has not spun any webs at all in what I understand is preparation for molting.

Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your two new T's.

I would not worry too much about your G. Pulchripes (Chaco Golden Knee) not eating. They can go for months without eating anything. As long as they move around every now an then and as long as they look healthy then there is no need to worry.

Being adult females, try giving them food every other week and if they haven't eaten by the following day, remove the food and try again two weeks later.

They love making us play the waiting game.
