Thanks for The reminder!
I had written up a post all that time ago and never posted it for some reason??
So I started the test, I did what was suggested.
4 colonies of the exact amount of roaches in each.
The roaches were approximately the same size, Juvies to adults.
I used 2 kinds of tea, Glen tea, 5 roses and 1 kind of rooibos.
I feed the controled colony on the normally food apart from tea's
I had 4 colonies of 30 roaches each.
And a whole lot of tea and rooibos.
On a stage I had over 6 liters of tea in the fridge.
Rooibos even more of, as it is a waste to use bags and not drink it.

But, there is only so much tea one man can drink alone.
So I feed them once a week, for about a month.
But did not get the "right" results though, most if not all of the test colonies (main colony as well) starting maturing into males, the one colony had 8 females and the rest were males with a couple of deaths. (glen tea)
As I feed my males to my spiders, I called the tests off as I had ran out of tea bags and of cause feed off the males.
Males would not give a true test as males tend to die like flies, one of each other.
I have a new colony in the process of growing, I also want to try using other roaches.
And see the outcome.
But from the month I did not see any negative results.
