Secondly, they are known to hunt under water, so we included a water well which will be stocked with a variety of fishes like Snoek and Sardine. Then thirdly, we learnt from a reliable source in Usbeckistan that H gigas will sometimes take to the air in search of Bats. These flights normally occur at dusk when the Bats come out to feed. We made the enclosure this high to accommodate short flights at dusk, although we will not be adding any bats, they crap to much...

I will keep a close eye on the gigas, although I don't foresee a problem with the height. I haven't had a t
falling from the top ...yet.
As for adding stuff to the water well, I'll definitely do that. Thanks Marula
I also considered the swampy outcome of my water well. I think I'll plant a nice, big, venus flytrap to guard the well,
it'll sure give the gigas female's butt a good smack if she start dumping! :silly:
