At long last the enclosure is finished!
It is a glass enclosure with a vent in the lid. It measures 400mm x 400mm x 500mm with a water well
at the front. A perforated pipe (air curtain) is covered by gravel at the bottom of the well. The air pump
that's connected to the air curtain, is fixed to the wall to keep the shelve free from vibrations.
Firstly, we covered the inside panel of the water well with silicon.
Then we covered the silicon with washed pebbles and sand.
I washed the plants and rinsed the soil from the roots of the water plant.
It was repotted in palmpeat. I then added substrate, bark, rocks and plants to the enclosure.
If you can't move the enclosure by yourself, you'll need a strong Luvi to do it for you
And then, the end product,...just add water, and in a while, a mated H.gigas female.

Asparagus Plumosus

Acorus Gram/Golden Edge
