Fungus? was created by Gemini
Found this the other day on my curly female and I removed the white spot unsure what it was. Looking at her again it had returned exactly the way I had found it. Could this be some fungus growth?

I took a paint brush and removed it again, here is a pic of it afterwards.

I have already changed the substrate and washed the enclosure out... any other suggestions?

Yuck! It really looks like some kind of fungus!

I'm not sure what kind of fungicide would be safe to use on T's. The Tarantula Keeper's Guide recommends to try Nystatin or Gentian Violet dye, which seems to be a mess!

Apart from that, keep the enclosure as dry as possible!
