Thanks for all the comments - good to know that there is no real/immanent danger to the T.

Had the same problem in 2 of my enclosures (B.Smithi and G.Puchripes). I just changed the substrate and used the pinheads as feeders for my slings.

My other T's never give the crickets a chance to lay eggs....

lol.......... Logic and a wee bit of experience. Maybe I should start a new post as to what it feels like being bitten by a large Psalmopoeus Irminia, all 3 times having different reactions and see what comes up..

No guys seriously, all these solutions posted should work, within what time frame I am not sure, I was merely stating what I would think would be the quickest and easiest. AND then you can salvage the pinheads to use as feeders.

The moment I see anything in any of suspicious nature in any of my enclosures (maybe a hint of mold or such), I remove all of the substrate and wash the tank to ensure I remove any traces of it, then replace it with fresh substrate.

I guess it comes down to personal choice at the end of the day.

A few sprays of water form a spray bottle is what I was talking about, but hey if rehousing your T is easier for you, then to each his own I guess .
