@klippie, My wife also "owns" an Avicularia avicularia which I bought to try and get her to see the beauty in these little creatures. Its really grown on her and escaped the other day which scared her a bit was otherwise relatively mellow all things considered.

I'm sorry for your loss buddy. I see Hendrik has some Avicularia versicolor at a good price.

yeah i saw the versi's for sale, i just bought 2 from Slasher. but i will order one from Hendrik en of the month to replace the wife's one. it really is amazing to see someone be so afraid of something and then change to start caring and feel affection towards the thing they were scared of.
