I want to paint 2 clay ornaments/hides for my tarantula tanks.

Can someone tell me what kind of paint to use that would be safe, non-toxic?
I was thinking of an acrylic primer that I can afterwards cover with a "sealer".

I would like an easier way out though..
Any suggestions?

If you go to hobby/craft or hardware shops, just look for 'food grade' paints and sealers.

Check the label though, you might have to let it 'cure' for a week or so before it becomes safe.
