Im lucky enough to have a permit to keep a few Ceratogyrus, Harpactira, Pterinochilus and Augacephalus species.
I kept them originally and got the permit to keep them when i was doing talks to the public. After a few years of doing these educationals nat con (with a bit of help from some people) decided to give me a permit. Currently just keeping them, but no official studies, etc.

I must admit, i often take it for granted, but glad i can atleast share some pics with you guys.

Cerat, I have found on 2 seperate ocassions 2 baboons in my house, unfortunately I was not able to take pics of them. I live in PTA very near the Soutpans berg. I live in a suburb not on a plot (I also found some small black scorpions and brown house snakes in the house). Do you know what baboons are in my area? I was stunned, I also have Huntsmen, rain spiders and some sort of crab spiders running around in the house and yard. My yard is very insect friendly, I detest poison.

@evaB. It will most probably be wandering male Harpactira hamiltoni. Try get some pics next time and i can give it a shot at an id.
