I just got three new Ts this past weekend and they're all the biggest I have, and one of them is a beautiful 6-7cm P. faciata (images attached)

My first question :
How in the %*&# do I do anything without the little bugger teleporting out of the enclosure !

Enclosure is 10cm x 10cm x 20cm (vertical) with top, full removal lid.

The first day she (it) chilled on the cork bark provided, and by the next day she started moving around more and chilling on the glass.
The next day, even just tapping the lid makes her automatically run to the top edge looking to make a break for it.

I sorta know how I'm going to try to get the food in tonight, but are there any tricks of the trade to make em not want to run up to escape ?

They will usually shy away and hide when you open the enclosures. Just make sure they're not on the lid when you open it, and keep an empty tub and paintbrush handy. I do most of my rehousing on my lawn. For some reason most spiders stop dead in their tracks when they hit the grass.

Feeding should be less of an issue.

Thanks mate, but turns out I was just being uber-paranoid

When I was feeding her, she didn't move at all, and that was after moving the enclosure to a different room and stuff.

Didn't get to see her catch the cricket, but he was gone in the morning !

I just absolutely love the way these Ts move and are shaped !
