hey. so my H.minax finally came out of its burrow long enough for me to properly check it out. Which is when i noticed the blue sheen it has on it's legs. . .so i got sold a lividum right?
Anyway,I was wondering if anybody can remember who was selling these slings. i bought them at an expo a while back(about a year maybe 2 ago). It was at the expo at emperror's palace. and they were being sold for R200 a sling.

Well that sucks! But none the less you have yourself a beautiful tarantula! I highly doubt if anyone will be able to pin point a breeder/reseller/petshop from that long ago but maybe you are not alone! Even if u did manage to figure out who sold it to you he/she probably wouldn't take responsibility for the "mixup".

I bought 2 X H.minax slings at the exact same expo.

They are indeed H.minax. my one matured into a gorgeous male not too long ago. the other is about 6 cm give or take. I have 2 X H.lividum juvies at the same size, and they do not compare in appearance. the H.minax does have a tinge of blue/purple hue on the legs, although i only saw that on the male, and not on the one I still have.

Don't worry. you have a H.minax... I was also like WTF when I first noticed the blue on him.

yeah i figured that much. still it would be cool to know,so in future i wouldn't deal with this person again. yeah i wonder how many people were scamed by this guy.
