actually I dont see any humour in that cartoon. What am I missing here?? In fact I am still unsure on how to feel about it.

Unfortunately the story hits home to so many ppl out there that get judged so easily and how easy it is to manipulate other ppls life just because they can.

The joke is in the anti-climax. I guess due to the fact that there are so many spider lovers here, its hard for some to let go of their passion and see humor in a theoretical situation where a spider dies.
