Petbugs advertised a Chaco Golden Knee as a Grammostola aureostriata or Grammostola pulchripes. What is the differs, because its not same? :huh:

They are the same, if memory serves, the Grammostola aureostriata was renamed to the Grammostola pulchripes in 2008.
This happens on a regular basis.
For example, the Grammostola rosea NCF was changed to it's own species: Grammostola porteri.

With the question coming from someone with as much experience as yourself, I realize that my statement requires some additional research.

Results from quick "research": seems the "name change" is not official. Some people refer to the G rosea NCF as G porteri, but no official name change has been made.
Guess it's one of those things that are being propagated as fact where it's not. :blush:
