I am new to keeping T's. Never thought I would ever keep T's, but then I thought the same of beardies and snakes and now keep all 3...

My wife and I visited the Expo where she convinced me (quite easily I must add) to buy a Brachypelma smithi - 1cm from the Tarantulas.co.za stand after seeing Taki (I think it was) with a Red Knee.
The proverbial bug as well and truly bitten and we have added the following to our collection:
Brachypelma albopilosum - 6-7cm
Grammostola rosea - 1cm
Nhandu chromatus - 1cm
Grammostola pulchripes - 1cm
Cyclosternum fasciatum - 1cm

I know I still have a lot to learn in the hobby and I think this forum has plenty to offer in that regard.

@ Dimitri - I have been wanting to do it for a while but just never got around to it and not being in the mood to work gave me the opportunity.

@Dave - Just following some examples on the forum......will stick to writing/typing them rather than pronouncing or rather trying to pronounce them.

Work? What work? Do tarantula hobbyists have work?
