Just gunned my Avic Avic enclosure.
Moved the T out into a jar left the dryer on for about 10 min then let it cool and returned the T to the enclosure.
The down side is the heat cannot penetrate the substrate. (Didn’t even kill the woodlice and the glass was too hot to touch)
The up side is I don't have to have an ICU as most of the mites have died I'll repeat this for the rest of the week allowing any mites to leave the T and then cook the following night.
I spray the web and the T with water when I return it taking care not to wet the substrate or the rest of the enclosure. I find misting the web only will last up to 24hrs and seen as though the T spends most of it's time in the web there is no point keeping the rest of the enclosure humid... Time will tell.
