A boring one this time, but my P.fasciata dropped this morning.
Will be leaving the babies from this female as well as the ornata female for the females to hatch out themselves, and will attempt to seperate them at 2nd/3rd instar if the eggcases are successful.

Well from a combination of unfertilised eggs and me cocking up the incubators, I just chucked away a sh1tload of eggs. Hope no one was looking to buy pederseni or miranda.
Pederseni: looks like majority of the eggs were unfertilised and some developed legs but didn't make it out the egg. Out of close to 200 eggs, I have 14 that look like they will make it.
Miranda: Again eggs that never hatched looks like about 20 out of 60 that have gone to EWL.
Metallica: out of about 100 eggs, 24 have gone to EWL.

Really pissed off at this stage, and have really considered just selling off everything non local and will possibly start doing so within the next few months, except for a few spiders that are close to my heart.

If I continue with pokies I will be leaving all egg cases with the females from here on in.
Fasciata and ornata are still sitting on sacs and will stay that way till they eat them or ther are 2nd instars running around.

These are pretty simple to get to drop if you know what to do. I did tell you she would drop once I put her next to the heat, just needed to find out how close to put her.

Regalia is still a bit behind, but will put her closer once I get some space around my heater.

Had to separate my P.ornata slings on Friday night as I had to sell a few.
Was quite a mission getting the female out without her trying to eat me, but managed after a few minutes of fighting.
Managed to seperate 60 babies and left the remaining 25 or so with the female. Planning on rehousing some at a later stage and leaving a few with her.

Then just as I was getting worried about my P.striata eggcase on Saturday, on Sunday I noticed her hide was full of little 1st instar babies.
No clue as to how many there are, but would guess at least 30 that I could see.
