Friend of mine asked me today about something that I really dont know how to answer.... He is looking for terestial tarantula that makes lot of spiderweb. My advice is that he buy chromatopelma cyaneopubescens.
Do you people have any other advice / suggestion ?

You can't go wrong with Chilobrachys huahini if it's extensive webbing you want. Or perhaps a Harpactira or Ceratogerus, which we aren't permitted to keep, but might be circulating in your country.

A Tarantula that is terrestrial and that webs like crazy... Holothele incei which can also be kept communally, C.cyaneobubescens, as mentioned already, they web like crazy and quite often web up their entire enclosure. C.huahini is also a sure bet for webbing as well as P.murinus (not permitted in South Africa). I have also found that H.maculata will build quite an interesting amount of webbing around their hiding spots.

You all forgot the M.balfouri My little one I bought from Scarab has made some interesting webbing after I added a small cork bark tube "formed by the hot water bending and wrapping technique". Speak about working at night. Each day the enclosure has new burrows, holes and webbing to go along with it all
