Is there proof of this? I'm just interested to know what research has been done on parasites infecting Ts, and if you know of any articles I would love to read them, doesn't have to be related to Ts, it can be about any parasites that can infect insects I find this stuff pretty interesting.

Awesome! Definitely going to read up about these parasites! So do they infect most insects or are them some just specific to arachnids?

It sounds like what Mandie are describing are mites, not nematodes. (You actually get mites that feed on nematodes: Linford and Oliviera (1938).)
